In-kind contributions
Not every contribution is cash.
Welfare societies often receive food, firewood, chairs and other goods when supporting a member. AssociatedWelfare records those contributions without forcing them into the cash accounts.
Record what was contributed.
An official can record what was contributed and the quantity received.
The society therefore has a record of the support that came in, even when there was no cash payment attached to it.
Useful where support is practical.
This is particularly useful for events where members contribute practical items instead of money.
